Mizuho Japan
Sugita clips, head frames and the MST neuro table, from Tokyo.
Mizuho Corporation, Tokyo, is the maker of the Sugita aneurysm clips, the Sugita head frames, a range of microsurgical instruments and the MST neuro operating tables.
The Sugita Titanium Aneurysm Clip II range covers 134 clips, 123 in the CE and MDR line up, made of non ferromagnetic Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy with 1.5 T and 3.0 T MR Conditional labelling. Dedicated appliers come in straight, angled, Sano and single shaft versions, and the Fukushima keyhole appliers keep the field visible in keyhole approaches.
Head fixation runs from the Sugita II skull clamp to the Smart-Fix, the carbon radiolucent frame for intraoperative imaging and an MRI frame, designed alongside the MST-7300 tables. The MST-7300BX table goes down to 450 mm for seated microneurosurgery and also supports the prone position, so one table covers cranial, spine and general cases.
Within Brainz, Mizuho Japan is the hand at the operating stage for cranial and microvascular work, beside Brainlab navigation, Langer neuromonitoring and the surgiForce chair. It is a different company and range from Mizuho OSI of Union City, California, whose spine and orthopedic tables have their own page.

How Mizuho connects across the Brainz ecosystem.
One plan, handed seamlessly from stage to stage. This is what “one ecosystem” means in the operating room.
Clips, head fixation and the neuro table sit at the centre of the Operate stage, with navigation and nerve monitoring around them.
