Returns and replacement procedures for medical equipment and surgical technology depend on product category, regulatory status, manufacturer policy, and commercial agreement.
1. Scope
This page is a general overview. Specific return and replacement terms are confirmed in the commercial documentation that accompanies each order.
2. Eligibility
Return or replacement of medical equipment is typically considered in cases of confirmed manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or supply of an item materially different from what was ordered. Hospitals should report such cases promptly to Brainz Medical Technology.
3. Capital Equipment
For installed capital equipment, the normal route is service intervention under warranty rather than return. See our Warranty and Service Policy.
4. Consumables and Single-Use Items
Single-use surgical consumables and sterile items are subject to regulatory restrictions and are generally not eligible for return once the sterile barrier is opened or the supply chain integrity is broken.
5. Procedure
To raise a return or replacement enquiry, contact info@brainz.me with the relevant order reference, product details, batch or lot information, and a description of the issue. Brainz Medical Technology will coordinate with the manufacturer.
