Mizuho OSI ProAxis Spinal Surgery Table in the UAE and GCC

A spinal surgery table that lets the surgeon flex and extend the lumbar spine during surgery, supplied and supported by Brainz across the UAE and the GCC.

What it is

Adjust the spine during surgery, not only before it.

ProAxis is the spinal surgery table from Mizuho OSI, launched in 2013 and described by the manufacturer as its most advanced table for spine surgery. It is built for simple and complex spine cases with the patient prone, supine or lateral.

Its radiolucent hinge lets the surgeon flex and extend the lumbar spine during surgery, with direct visualization of alignment changes. Mizuho OSI says it is the only table on the market that allows this, and that it helps visibility, access and restoring sagittal balance. The Torso Trolley moves the upper body with the hinge and keeps it neutral, while the surgical site stays at a fixed height.

The carbon fiber frame converts from an open frame to a radiolucent imaging top, with unrestricted O-arm and C-arm access. Within Brainz, ProAxis sits beside Brainlab navigation and Langer neuromonitoring in the spine room.
